As you step through the gate into the Enchanted Oakland, the first thing you will notice is the quiet. Gone are the noises of cars, people and technology.
A hush falls over you, like a handmade crochet blanket on a winter day. A sign beside the gate informs you that you are on the Midrib Rd. A road that extends as far as your eye can see. A road that leads you into The Enchanted Oakland.
Whisper Woods.
Located on the first Southeastern lobe of the Enchanted Oakland. The Whisper woods are dominated by Giant Oaks, Fairy Maple trees and Writ Birch trees. Their leaves, in shades of teal and purples, let in only the barest amounts of light for the yet lush understory of berry shrubs, ferns, mosses, wildflowers, mushrooms and the rare Gemwood Trees.
